Parents want the best for their children especially when it comes to spiritual training. What are some characteristics parents expect from Children’s Ministry Leaders?
Here are some examples of the expectations parents have. Children’s Leaders should:
•Be a Christ follower who sets a Godly example
•Be loving to the children
•Be patient, but firm
•Be kind and encouraging
•Be friendly to their child and their family in and out of the classroom

This subject has been discussed in every children’s ministry conference I have attended with many diverse views. Each person must decide what is best for ministry at church and at home with their own children. Today it is hard to impress kids because they have so much. We need to find a balance between making them feel proud of their accomplishments and creating a dependency on rewards.
