The popular TV series, “The Office” is a leadership treasure trove of how not to lead. And yet anyone who has ever had a job can relate and see the humor in this show! We all know someone who’s got a little Michael or Dwight or Jim in them. Recently, I saw an episode entitled Performance Reviews. Poor Dwight pulls out all the stops in preparing for his annual review and when he walks into Michael’s office, Michael says, “Your performance has been adequate. You may leave now. Good-bye.”
